Today's primary change is that we have fixed (knock on wood!) a widely reported issue where user settings (such as list vs. cloud view, open vs. closed tag or bundle groups, and number of bookmarks per page) were not being remembered. As of this evening these setting should now be persisted across browser sessions and you should no longer need to continually reset them. If you have encountered this issue in one of its many forms, please give it another try and let us know if you are still having trouble.
I'd also like to take this opportunity to remind everyone using our Delicious Bookmarks add-on for Firefox to make sure you're running the latest version (2.0.104). We've found evidence that a bug in older versions may be the primary cause of people getting blocked from viewing the site. i'd like to change my new default setting. is there an option for that? the other night i resorted my bookmarks reverse alphabetically while looking for something, and now that's become my default and i'm unable to change it.
@unprolific -- You should be able to just change it back by selecting a different sort order (e.g. Sorted by Most Recent) in the drop-down at the top-right of your bookmarks list. Is that not working for you?
yes, it's not working. i can manually change it back, but my new default is still reverse alphabetical. i've tried logging out and restarting my computer, but it hasn't made any difference.
@unprolific -- I've tried a few different browsers to double check this and haven't been able to reproduce your problem. Would you mind deleting your Delicious cookies and then trying again please?
Once in a blue moon I run into similar issues with other sites, clearing the problem cookie and starting again usually helps. Let me know if you need directions on removing the Delicious cookies for your specific browser.
