We’ve just launched a mobile version of Delicious. You can find it at http://m.delicious.com. This is a beta and represents our first real dabbling in mobile browsing, so we’ve started conservatively. The site is designed to work on as many devices as possible, although YMMV.

Delicious Mobile enables you to sign into your account and browse your bookmarks, tags, inbox, and other data. You can also browse popular and recent bookmarks and tags from the Delicious community. This means you can:

    * Ditch your phone’s bookmarks — they’re too hard to keep updated, organized, and synchronized. Just use your Delicious bookmarks instead!
    * Tag-stalk on the go — use your Network to follow what your friends are reading, no matter where you are.
    * Break the tedium — browse the tastiest bookmarks on the Web next time you’re standing in line to buy the new Guns N’ Roses (wait, people still buy CDs?).

Next up on our to-do list is to integrate our social search engine into the mobile site. We welcome your feedback on what you’d like to see in the future, so let us know what you think.

Been waiting for this for a while -- especially with my new iP3G. Looks ok, but not great.

    1) Needs search. You say above you're working on that, so good on ya.
    2) Should show tags under bookmarks. Tags should be clickable to go to that specific tag.
    3) How about a native iPhone version? Preferrably one that would allow bookmarking from Safari on the phone.

You might want to take some inspiration from iLicious (or just buy the guy out and be done with it!)

cool, but where are all my tags? just 10 most popular is not enough... I'd be happier to see the S60 edition application to work with my tags (it would be great if it could integrate into nokia default browser and/or have an opera mini integration...)

    Hi,

Thanks for the feedback so far. Search is on our list and we are working on adding it. In the future we also plan to support more device specific skins, we are actively working on a native iPhone app as well.

Lastly, all your tags are there, you will just have to use the box at the top of the page to navigate to them. Adding more content that you can browse to (including tags) is on our list of future enhancements as we make improvements to the beta.

    Thanks!

Very nice! I really wanted this after receiving my new windows mobile phone last month. Delicious mobile looks clean and good allready (on my HTC Touch HD). My remarks:

    1) I'd like to be able to combine tags like the normal delicious. I use the tag 'mobile' for all mobile websites, but there are other tags as well (news, weather, etc.).
    2) I don't think there's a way allready to add bookmarks from my mobile device, right? Or maybe I overlooked it. Anyway, I'd like to be able to add bookmarks from my mobile browser (Opera 9.5) as well.
    3) I'd like to see all my tags, preferably in a tag cloud (if at all possible on mobile browsers).

    Thats it for now. Thanks!

Hey, this is a welcome addition.

Two things I'd like to see:
    1. Support for the setcount parameter (so I can have more than 10 per page)
    2. A toggle for descriptions

    Thanks team delicious!
  3.
Hi marcogla, I was going to mention combining tags here, until I noticed it already worked :) Just put "tag1 tag2" in the search box (i.e. separate the tags by spaces). And if you bookmark "http://m.delicious.com/yourname/foo bar baz" in your mobile browser, it will take you to your bookmarks tagged foo, bar and baz.

I'll second the request for a way to save Delicious bookmarks from my phone.

    Hi,

We wanted to get this into everyone's hands as soon as possible we made the mobile beta a read-only app.

The "Bookmark to Delicious" bookmarklets ( http://delicious.com/help/bookmarklets ) for Safari will work on your iPhone.
Add the bookmarklet to your Bookmarks bar and sync your computer with the iPhone. When you are on a page you'd like to bookmark, click on the Bookmarks icon and then select the "Bookmark on Delicious", a new page will open and you can save to that dialog page.

We will be bringing built-in save to mobile in the future.

    Thanks for the suggestions.

I'd like to be able to browse my bundles. It'd be great to have a bundle called "Mobile" or whatever that could store a group of tags I used commonly when browsing on my phone.

It's off to a great start though!

Bundle view will definitely be happening! Especially for that reason - a bundle to see your mobile-y stuff.

Thanks! Long waited feature, I have used Google's tools and Skweezer.com for shrinking non-mobile delicious version to access bookmarks on the go.

But why you have removed tags from showing on bookmarks??? Especially in Network and Subscriptions.

    @rb2

Tags are missing right now but will appear in a future update.

    Thanks

You need a page formatted for mobile for "New Page entry". I can use a bookmarklet to bookmark a page from Opera Mini, but get the regular form--a pain to use on a phone's screen.

Also, can anyone point me to a bookmarket that creates a bookmark without invoking the form? The one I found for Opera Mini does not seem to work.

I may not have read the instructions thoroughly enough, but I don't see how to create a bookmark.

I'd like to see the 2nd line appear below the title, as in the desktop Delicious. (I believe this comes from an "Info" field completed by the user.) Especially when the bookmark's title is the title of an article, which may not be clear, the additional info helps the viewer understand the bookmark's subject.

m.delicious.com doesn't currently include a special mobile way to save bookmarks; we plan to add that in the future. We do have some instructions for installing bookmarklet buttons for saving bookmarks on iPhones: http://blog.delicious.com/blog/2008/01/using-delicious-on-your-iphone.html

I cannot log in to the m.delicious site. It keeps telling me I have the wrong username/password even though they are 150% correct.

Hello everyone, I am studying the development platform in symbian and developing a small program to control the favorite delicious.
I am using the kit of the Nokia WRT and only the basic features will be used.
