    Here's the error I'm getting - http://i138.photobucket.com/albums/q261/razorsoup/Delicious/DeliciousError.png

I'm using Firefox 3.5.2 with Delicious 2.1.062 on Windows XP with SP3. Delicious is currently the only extension enabled.

    Steps to reproduce:
    1. Open Firefox.
    2. Leave idle for approx. 30s to 1min
    3. Error pops up.

If I disable the Delicious extension, error stops popping up. The domain it is trying to reach is one of my work related bookmarks. So, why is the Delicious extension trying to connect to my bookmarks when my computer is idle?

It sounds like the add-on is trying to download the favicon - see http://support.delicious.com/forum/comments.php?DiscussionID=3054 for a similar report. As delsibil says in that thread, the next add-on upgrade will have an option to turn off this feature.

Please, please, please fix this soon. I have to end Firefox from the task manager when this happens. Clicking cancel just keeps popping up duplicate dialogs. It's getting quite annoying.

I am having the same issue and have had to disable my delicious in order to use my work computer anywhere in the school district! Do we have any idea when the update is coming out?

The latest version of the add-on (2.1.071) includes an option to disable idle-time favicon checking: go to about:config and set extensions.ybookmarks@yahoo.updateFaviconsWhenIdle to false.

    Britta,
THANK YOU! I added the new buttons, and they are working fine :-)
